---COSMETICS---

The body features a hand carved skull and flames design.  The edges of the body have been torched to a nice burn look and the finish on the top is a matte while the sides and back are a distressed flat.

The distressed flat is done by allowing the paint to soak into the wood grain and then finish up by steel wool sanding it dull.  It is gnarly in a cool way!

I really set out to build something extra special with this guitar.  It is packed with some awesome features.

The compensated zero fret is all about improving intonation

the 8 pickup config is all about giving you all the possible pickup selections you can have in the cleanest setup

the recessed pick-guard is just a nice touch and when I came up with that idea,  I was like...  why isn't everyone doing it this way???

if you have never played on a wenge neck, prepare yourself! it feels buttery smooth and is an excellent tone wood and is also more resistant to climate effects WIN, WIN, WIN!!!

but most of all... TONE WOODS!  this particular combo of woods provides a super tight and focused low end and a smooth high end.  people who I have built guitar for with this wood combo are consistently blown away.
