THE ULTIMATE NECK

What's so ultimate about this neck?  it is not the specs or style or what kind of guitar it is going on but..

This is all about the construction techniques and how that translates to LONGEVITY and STABILITY

ROASTED MAPLE NECK SHAFT

i choose this because it makes the neck more resistant to moisture absorption and that translates to less frequent (and less severe) truss rod adjustments.  It also makes the neck lighter.

MULTI-PIECE NECK SHAFT

i choose this because 3 or more pieces can be orientated to counteract any natural tendencies to bow or twist.

QUARTERSAWN NECK SHAFT ORIENTATION

i choose this because it makes for a stiffer neck in opposition to the string tension.

RICHLITE FINGERBOARD

i am a big fan of the Richlite material.  it is moisture resistant, less prone to cracking.  it looks fantastic consistently.  and its a big part of the stability of the neck along with the roasted maple.  The moisture resistance is the key.

TRUSS ROD

i am using my premium truss rod as well as carbon fiber stiffening rods...  Which is probably overkill but it makes for a super stiff and stable neck!!!

STAINLESS STEEL FRETS

with a neck built to last as long as these are meant to...  its gotta be SS frets!

EVERYTHING ELSE...

all the other specs can still be added.  custom inlay, LED's, scalloped frets, paint, etc...

and these can be made for all styles of guitars and basses  -  different headstock  -  as well as any fingerboard radius or neck profile shape.  Sky is still the limit
